    Job Summary

    The Business Analyst IT will serve defining needs and prescribing technological solutions that deliver value to our key stakeholders 


    • Works with business users to define and analyze problems and align the most suitable technical, application or configuration solutions.
    • Solicits, develops, documents and manages requirements and provides detailed design and business rules to support the requirements throughout the project life cycle up to and through change control.
    • Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
    • Reviews system test plans and system tests modules before implementation.
    • Creates, reviews and delivers end-user documentation (user guide, process flow charts, training materials) and training for accuracy.
    • Facilitate, drive and manage the development and implementation of technology projects by working with SMEs and cross functional project teams.
    • Serves as a subject-matter expert on assigned projects creates, modifies, and improves documentation, procedures, and training materials.
    • Discuss complex business issues and provide recommendations on action to stakeholders and IT managers.
    • Create and run SQL Reports as needed.
    • Develop and execute test plans.


    • Demonstrates proven thorough abilities and success with identifying and addressing business user needs.
    • Actively leading requirements gathering discussions and meetings; engaging with users to define key business goals and translating to automated system solutions
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills; ability to lead meetings internally and externally and executive briefings.
    • Often takes a leading role in senior level presentations with management teams
    • Applies research, gathering, analytical and interpretation skills to problems of diverse scope. Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate complexity.
    • Works on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, decisions or recommendations.
    • Contributes to area by ensuring quality of output. Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects or activities within own area.
    • Establishes working relationships with others outside area of expertise.
    • Applies knowledge and understanding of customer needs and other internal/external contacts.
