    Job Summary

    The Director of Infrastructure Operations is responsible for operational excellence as well as the development of the overall infrastructure including innovative network, voice, video and collaboration designs that deliver quality scalable solutions and improve the user experience in Alcora Corporation. The Director will craft the strategy, planning, design, delivery and operational management of all aspects of IT Operations and Infrastructure.


    • Oversee the creation and implementation of our IT infrastructure and Operations strategy designed to meet current and future needs of the organization.
    • Drive a pervasive security model across the IT infrastructure and natively embed security capabilities within all service and technology solutions.
    • Encourage scalable technology solutions by embracing automation to enable the organization to easily deploy and operate new features, capabilities, and functionality.
    • Oversees the development of procedures and processes for enterprise network and data center operations.
    • Responsible for ensuring that the enterprise has the capability to support new technologies and maintain high levels of network performance, data integrity and reliability.
    • Participates in IT strategic planning activities, bringing a current knowledge and future vision of infrastructure technology, systems and best practices.
    • Responsible for the strategic direction for IT infrastructure and operations functions. Assesses the relative impact of IT industry trends on current and future enterprise IT infrastructure needs.
    • Develop and maintain budgets that align with plans and service levels, improving value over cost ratio.
    • Design and implement necessary security, SOC, SOX and IT policies and controls.


    Education / Experience:

    • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is required.
    • Master’s degree preferred.
    • 5 to 10 years of experience in a related Information Technology job.
    • Relevant experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM)
    • Experience with Networks and leading IT infrastructure groups in complex and dynamic environments.


    • Demonstrated knowledge of the ITSM principles including relevant methodologies, tools and overall discipline
    • Knowledge of modern infrastructure technologies and Cloud Service providers.
    • Knowledge of security frameworks, technical designs and operational controls is desired.
    • Strong knowledge of design, implementation, and operations using cloud first infrastructure and solutions.



    • Critical and structured thinking as well as executive-level influence to formulate and obtain broad support for proposed IT strategies and plans.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team to continuously improve performance and to achieve desired results.
    • Proven record of project management skills, ability to plan and successfully execute project plans.
