Job Summary

Will oversee the marketing, branding, and promotion of the MONAT Gear products. This position requires strong leadership skills, as well as creativity and knowledge of market trends.

Define the strategy for MONAT Gear products, source the products, launch them and increase customer sales through marketing and promotion of products to the target audience. E-commerce and fashion merchandising experience, and ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology.  Must be creative and have a strong understanding of the products MONAT fields demands.

Responsibilities

  • Sources and promotes products and services at various events and activities, such as MONAT national conventions, incentives trips, special exhibits, and more.
  • Coordinates the arrangement of MONAT Gear stores during events, from shipping of products, to coordination of staff on site, sales goals and anything related to the on-site store.
  • Supervises other staff members to ensure productivity and provides assistance as needed for onsite and online shop sales.
  • Designs the presentation of products and defines the right selection for our audience.
  • Manages promotions and displays of merchandise online, and on-site during events.
  • Directs Social Media team with a vision on how to promote shop products that drive traffic to the website and converting that traffic into costumers.
  • Arranges product giveaways and/or specials discounts online, and on-site during events.
  • Develops improvement plans, prepares monthly reports, analyses relevant data, as well as constant research of product line improvement and implementation.
  • Prices, budgets and creates profit and loss statements for online and on-site sales.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in merchandising, marketing or related field.

 

Experience:

  • Five years’ experience in practical direct or equivalent experience in merchandising field, branded apparel, fashion.
  • Experience working with retailers and staff in this field.
  • Experience sourcing products in different markets and creating relationships with vendors.
  • Superior visual merchandising expertise

Skills: 

  • Self-starter and high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Able to solve problems and work in a fast paced, high growth environment. 
  • Strong project management skills including follow through. 
  • Creative program development as well as budget management skills.  Leadership skills, and collaborative. 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills are essential. 
  • Excellent communicator across design, marketing, operations, visual, web, accounting and customer service departments
  • Strong computer skills to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  And Knowledge of computers and software programs needed in the retail industry.
  • Must have proven experience, establishing cultivating, and stewarding vendors relationships and sourcing new manufacturers, as well as leading full product life cycle
  • Skilled negotiator who achieves goals and drives sales.
  • Flexible with a sense of urgency, to keep on top of inventory and cash plans while maintaining calm under pressure. \
  • Excellent fashion sense, strategically maximizing business and securing exclusive revenue boosting products.
  • Strong execution and implementation of merchandising and/or creative planograms/directives
