Job Summary

The Training Specialist will develop and facilitate training materials and courses for employees at all levels of the Contact Center. This professional will be experienced at all fields of the learning and development (L&D) world, as this position will be a key player in building out and supporting MONATs Learning and Development Department within the Contact Center.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate adult learning via classroom and/or virtual environment, incorporating a variety of presentation methods and applications to accommodate adult learning styles.
  • Training delivery will consist of product knowledge, business background, processes and procedures guided by SOPs and technical (multiple systems).
  • Conducts new hire, program revision and remedial training following instructional guides.
  • Manages classroom environment (virtual and physical) and evaluates trainee performance to identify any learning gaps.
  • Provides written evaluations of employee performance to management as required
  • Maintains positive, consistent communication with departments and corporate staff to ensure the overall success of the Training Department.
  • Reports on progress of assigned projects to leadership.
  • Maintains ongoing dialogue with department heads as needed
  • Maintains accurate training records which are shared with leadership to provide visibility on all classroom activities, deficits, hours, and issues that occur during the training to the Global Training Manager immediately to account stakeholders daily.
  • Perform various other tasks as assigned.
  • Supports and participates in Monthly Business Reviews.
  • Provide support to Operations and QA as needed (Floor support, coach, evaluate performance...)

Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of professional classroom facilitation; experience in a training capacity

  • Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and listening skills.

  • Expert level communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Bilingual: English and Spanish

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Highly proficient in time management, planning, and prioritization.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to present content and information in order to help group achieve objectives via virtual meetings in a one-on-one and/or group settings.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support training program needs. Must be flexible, resourceful and able to troubleshoot.
  • Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, self-motivated and highly enthusiastic.
  • Emotional maturity, forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to work remotely. 

 

Preferred

 

  • Associates degree in the educational field.
  • Facilitation Certification for Adult Learners.
  • Experience facilitating in a Contact Center environment.
  • Administrative experience using a Learning Management System (LMS)
