Job Summary

The Manager of Security and Loss Prevention is responsible for monitoring the security operations for ALCORA Corporation. Implement security policies, regulations, rules, norms and make sure that the environment is safe for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures
  • Develop and implement procedures for minimizing the loss of merchandise, money, or company assets as much as possible
  • Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
  • Recruit, train and supervise security personnel
  • Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
  • Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
  • Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
  • Review reports on incidents and breaches
  • Investigate and resolve issues
  • Create reports for management on security status
  • Analyze data to form proposals for improvement plans
  • Formulate plans regarding employee’s safety, and emergency procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required. Further education in security administration or similar field preferred
  • Proven experience as security manager or similar position, supervising a security team
  • Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
  • Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
  • Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Experience with loss prevention
  • Experience developing Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) within the Security field
  • Experience working in large facilites
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and data analysis
  • Knowledge of security environments and hazards
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
