Job Summary

Oversee research and inspiration (trends, silhouettes, fabrics). Create a cohesive season collection. Ongoing partnership with Creative Director to ensure color palate, fonts, and graphics are being used correctly.


  • Design flats and sketches for all styles as part of a cohesive seasonal collection. Aesthetic and vision to align with brand and corporate strategy.
  • Source fabrics and trim ideas with vendor and product development. Coordinates all fabrics, garment construction, trims, lab dips, and strike offs, etc…with procurement and vendors to develop both proto and photo samples,
  • Responsible for meeting all key milestones on time outlined in T&A Calendar
  • Partner with Merchandising to brainstorm, develop, and implement processes that work based on the needs of the business.
  • Oversee and lead the sample approval process with both internal and external teams
  • Oversee and lead all fit sessions. Partner with Jr Designer to ensure tech packs are correct and up-to-date
  • Prepare design presentations such as sketch boards, design boards, proto reviews, samples reviews, line sheets, etc… to be reviewed in design and production meetings.
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams including merchandising, procurement, executive team, and maintain strong business relationships with external partners
  • Lead sample review sessions, provide recommendations, note feedback, and update sketches as necessary



  • Bachelor’s degree in fashion design

  • 3-5 years’ design experience

  • Fashion / Activewear / Technical Fabrics / Athleisure Experience a MUST

  • Women’s experience a MUST - Softline’s and Hardlines Accessories experience a PLUS - Men’s experience a PLUS

  • Strong attention to detail and strong knowledge of fabric, garment construction, silhouettes, prints, colors, and trims. Strong communications and presentations skills


    Proficient with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to multiple task in a fast-paced start-up organization

  • Portfolio needed for consideration
