The primary responsibilities of Inventory Manager are to Control and Supervise all activities of Packaging Materials, Intermediate and Finished Products in all warehouses of the Company, from reception process, laydown, identifying, put away to BINS & transfer between warehouses, making sure that products are being correctly counted, labelled and controlled in SAP.
A Warehouse Manager will work closely with Packaging Inventory Manager in all activities associated with Cycle Counts activities needed to maintain an inventory accuracy above 95.5% in any SKU.
A Warehouse Manager must have a great eye for detail and advanced math skills. The goal is to assure we post in SAP Inventory System the correct items and quantities to maintain an accurate inventory control. Oversees forklift drivers and inventory specialists on their regular activities while moving products in and out of BIN locations.
Reporting to Senior Inventory & Warehouse Manager, the main duties and responsibilities are to oversee Supervisors in the different Warehouses and their regular activities, including:
ü To verify quantities received versus packing list and report discrepancies
ü Ensure that the Packaging materials received are correctly labeled according to B&R’s SAP codes
ü To control product locations in the warehouse in the different BIN locations
ü To monitor and to control the staff in the warehouse, to ensure their proper performance, taking care of the Hygiene and Safety standards defined by the Company
ü To manage physical spaces within the warehouse
ü To coordinate with the Inventory Clerk all matters related to inventory movements
ü To analyze deviations resulting from cycle counts and to prepare action plans to minimize product differences in the future.
ü Ensure proper product loading inside trailers and trucks when making deliveries or transfers.
ü Report any safety issue to management
ü Industrial Engineer or similar, with 5 or more years of experience
ü SAP knowledge in Inventory Control is required.
ü Bilingual Spanish - English.
ü Supervision of personnel experience required.
ü Methodic scheme of work.
ü Excellent verbal communications skills.
ü Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends as needed.
ü Understanding and assuring that personnel comply with health and safety regulations.
