Our Marketing Communications team seeks a high-energy, detail-oriented, product-savvy Marketing Copywriter to support these efforts with sharp, compelling copy that readers can’t resist. The ideal candidate will be a genuine copy chameleon: able to adapt and display brilliance regardless of the topic or channel, ranging from instant hooks in flash sale emails to in-depth descriptions of our naturally based ingredients and their benefits.
• Deliver compelling, on-brand copy for marketing emails, social media posts, web pages, and other materials that promote new product launches, sales, promotions, and loyalty program benefits to consumers
• Provide clear, detail-rich, easy-to-understand verbiage for a variety of product education and support materials, including info sheets, web page copy, how-to video scripts and more
• Rapidly produce clear, concise pop-up communications as needed to inform customers of various matters regarding product inventory, delivery timelines, product discontinuations, system issues, and the like
• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
• Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action
• Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the specific subject matter and audience, while ensuring proper brand voice is consistently maintained
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and industry trends
• Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging
• Maintain a keen eye for detail including punctuation, use of trademark and registration symbols, grammar and usage, and company terminology
• Thoroughly research topic matter using various available resources to ensure accuracy of copy
• Work with other departments to obtain additional/detailed information needed to create accurate copy
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, or related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work that includes examples of marketing and product copywriting
• Extreme attention to detail, including both factual accuracy and proper grammar
• Exceptional writing skills for both B2B & B2C
• Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides a plus
• Social media or content marketing experience a plus
• Beauty or Direct Sales industry experience is a plus
• Experience working with email platforms such as Mailchimp a plus
