The Project Management Director ensures that business projects are executed effectively and efficiently. The PMO oversees projects and develops and maintains project management methodologies, standards and tools.

Project Management Team Leadership:

• Establish the PMO organization structure, hiring and managing staffing requirements in line with project objectives.
• Oversee the delegation of work to Project Managers, Program Managers and Business Analysts.
• Set annual performance targets for individuals and the team and conduct performance reviews.

Project Tracking & Monitoring:

• Track and provide project status and audit reports.
• Manage the risk, issue and change resolution process, and work with other leaders to take corrective action as needed.
• Oversee Project Managers for the delivery of projects/programs on time, within scope and on budget.

 Project Prioritization:

• Interface with executives to define project priorities and implementation opportunities and challenges and keep them up-to-date with project risks and opportunities.

 

• 5 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager, Program Manager or PMO Officer, with a proven track record of successful project delivery, an ability to improve project management practices
• Six Sigma Black/Green belt or experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches (e.g. Project and Portfolio Management Methodology – PPM)
• Budget, cost and profitability management skills
• Knowledge of resource management tools
• Ability to operate under pressure.
• Highly collaboration, able to thrive both individually and as a team member.
• Ability to meet deadlines and quickly adapt to shifting priorities.
• Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
• Strong attention to detail and superior listening skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Comfortable operating in situations characterized by complexity, ambiguity and high levels of uncertainty.
• Demonstrated computer skills (Project Management software, Microsoft Office).
