The mission of the Senior Developer, Business Intelligence function is to identify and translate BI Department opportunities into actionable recommendations to achieve individual, team and company goals initiatives. To support and train the internal team, departments in finding new ways to develop a robust business intelligence environment, to maximize analytical value, and retain the most profitable and enhance current internal BI processes. Supporting all the target setting process and measure the impact of reporting strategies to senior management and beyond.

• Work in Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Data Migration, Data Integration and Metadata Management Services using MS SSIS.
• Implement reporting services architecture utilizing SQL Server background to employ business intelligence techniques throughout the logistics organization.
• Minimize circular references within business intelligence architecture by conducting dimensional modeling to accommodate data designs.
• Act as SME in the Data Warehouse development in release planning and coordination process, provided status updates to management.
• Provide solutions for the data warehouse, system engineering, management consultancy and business intelligence team related solutions.
• Act as Solutions Architect to gather user requirements and directed Data Warehouse architectural design.
• Drive the rationalization of legacy transactional data into the EDW.
• Design the entire database schema and Data Warehouse infrastructure.
• Facilitate tasks and provide mentoring to junior BI team in loading data, database programming using T-SQL.
• Lead Data Warehouse/Data Mart development project activities that include data gathering, planning, modeling, Analysis & Dashboard design.
• Use Dimensional Modeling techniques to create and modify new tables in the SQL Server Data Warehouse.
• Consolidate and integrate current procedures to 1; reducing time and effort to support business operations.
• Work with internal IT Operation team to establish and manage large scale data warehouse solutions and future IT infrastructure changes.
• Develop Tableau data visualization dashboards, allowing easier reaction to data and market changes.
• Create executive dashboards, (e.g., Tableau upgrade (2020.3 version and up), BI re-architecture, performance tuning.
• Create PL/SQL packages to support development of highly summarized management dashboards.
• Lead team of Developers in Developing Business intelligence Dashboards.
• Document the reporting requirements by thorough interactive sessions with Project Manager by building prototypes for developing the interactive executive level dashboards.
• Design, implement, and administer Business Intelligence data mart providing the data platform for multiple dashboards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems with expertise in data mining or equivalent.
• 5 years using databases, querying, data modeling and BI tools including SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, MDX, TSQL, PL/SQL
• 5 years of hands-on experience with data engineering including ETL and data warehousing.
• 2 years using analytical tools including Tableau.
• 5 years data modeling relational and multi-dimensional databases.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with building semantic-layer business intelligence solutions including metrics, dashboards, and data visualization.
• Self-starter, passionate about making a difference.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:

• Tableau certification is preferred.
