Job Summary

The Senior Product Manager, Market Partner Experience is responsible for the product strategy, vision, roadmap, and delivery of websites, tools, and applications to help Monat’s Market Partners successfully run their businesses.  


Reporting to Monat’s Chief Technology Officer, and working with key stakeholders, the Sr. Product Manager will use his/her background and knowledge to ensure business needs are understood and are properly translated into the requirements for technology products and capabilities. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to identify and engage with stakeholders and then manage all ongoing communications to ensure all are kept informed at an appropriate level. 


As a Sr. Product Manager, the person in this role will be the driving force for ensuring Agile principles and practices are understood and properly enacted within the product management team and when working with stakeholders.  Working in close collaboration with the Market Partner IT Applications Engineering Leader and his/her organization, the Sr. Product Manager is responsible for ensuring the creation of high-value products. 




  • Lead agile, cross-functional teams consisting of engineering, UX, and QA to builtools, website, and app experiences for Monat’s Market Partners 
  • Gain a deep understanding of Market Partner experiences, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that will help Monat fulfill its mission and business goals 
  • Provide strategic and tactical vision to Monat senior executives and stakeholders as it pertains to our software products and their evolution
  • Ensure a well-formed and prioritized roadmap and backlog of work is always available to ensure optimal utilization of the Applications Engineering teams
  • Develop user stories, epics and themes and ensure that they provide the organization with maximum value and are aligned with the overall product strategy
  • Lead the creation of Market Partner product release plans and sets expectation for delivery of new functionality 
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful delivery of internal and external commitments 
  • Lead the research and analysis of external market trends and Monat’s personas as applicable 
  • Provide guidance and leadership on the visual and user experience aspects of software product design 
  • Utilize analytics and data to drive quantitative decision-making regarding features and functionality
  • Monitor, track and control product release outcomes to understand and communicate actual business results achieved. 
  • Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication. 


  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study
  • 5+ years of full lifecycle product management experienceworking with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment 
  • Leverage data driven insights through a test and learn approach using experimentation and an iterative approach anchored in clear objectives. 
  • Solid technical background with experience in managing web and/or mobile products 
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills, including facilitation and coaching and able to lead and influence others. 
  • Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to non-technical audiences including executive management 
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations. 
  • Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities 
  • Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives. 
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands and with a focus on customer service. 
  • Proven ability to drive results and accountability within his/her team and across the organization.
  • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple cross-functional areas in order to achieve a common business objective
