Job Summary

Responsible for working closely with the Director of Field Development and Education, Recognition, Sales, Marketing and Operations to develop and implement strategic events plans while overseeing the effective execution across all platforms to maximize field experience in Canada. This includes managing external resources as it pertains to the project.


• Strategize and prioritize tasks associated with the development on-site, and execution of North American wide Events.
• Oversee all components of large and small scale events with attendees ranging from 50 - 2000
• Enforce branding, look, tone and feel, partnering with external vendors when sourcing recognition material.
• Ensure all events are executed seamlessly to meet the standards of both internal and external audiences.
• Manage event budgets and identify cost-savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with US counterparts to discuss, create, update and evaluate recognition programs and identify and leverage initiatives for the Canadian market.
• Keep reports updated of all field recognition ranks, as well as special programs such the car program
• Ensure that onsite recognition at events is run smoothly, reports are accurate and the recipients are left with a feeling of extreme accomplishment.


• Post secondary education in a related field, and/or equivalent work experience; general business/accounting experience a plus.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience planning and executing events.
• 3 + years direct selling experience an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to build relationships across department lines and within the field.
• Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas to different management levels, departments within organization, and external resources.
• A team player with strong communications skills - including writing, presenting, and editorial skills
• Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and creatively solve problems and resolve issues.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts and expenses.
• Manage agency/vendor relationships.
• Creative, proactive, flexible, and a quick learner.
• Sound decision-making and judgment in the implementation of policies and programs.
