Job Summary

The Forecasting Analyst is responsible for coordinating and executing the global supply chain for international markets. Collaborating cross functionally with the Senior Forecast Analyst, Operations, Brand teams, marketing, sales, and Finance to develop product forecast for assigned brands. This position is responsible for driving continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and forecasting process to positively impact out – of- stocks, shrink, on shelf availability, sales, and margin. This person will have a high level of data analytics and problem-solving skills and have knowledge in best practice demand forecast methods. This person will report to the planning / forecast manager.


  • Support item selection and all inventory management associated with all promotional, finish goods, travel size and discontinued items.
  • Help forecast inventory needs and determine ways to increase levels and flow of promotional inventory.
  • Assist with the management of full in partnership with each market segment.
  • Review and analyze item sales and stock and use these findings to identify improvements.
  • Support for ad hoc analysis and the development of tool and reporting.
  • Work with merchandising, pricing, and supply chain teams to understand business dynamics, goals, and challenges to promote incremental sales and gross margin.
  • Participate in developing assortment planning for new market segments and forecast inventory needs to support sales.
  • Build collaborative relationships with diverse teams.                             
  • Achieve consensus with the business side and the demand chain.                        
  • Monitor trends in forecast and forecast accuracy.
  • Coordinate and execute end of life cycle strategy with the marketing team.
  • Support new product launches with forecast and supply chain.
  • Coordinate 3rd party manufacturing needs for specific market segments.


  • BS degree from an accredited college/university. Degree in mathematics, Business, or related field preferred
  • Two (2) to five (5) years as a forecasting analyst, promotional analyst, or inventory analyst
  • Proven ability to perform in – depth data analysis and present insights in a clear manner.
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Excel and Power Point for data analysis and presentations.
  • Listen well and seeks input from others. Knows how to effectively communicate and sell his/her ideas at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
