Job Summary

In Canada we are looking for a Social Media Coordinator who will support the MONAT Canada social department in executing global and market specific social campaigns. The Social Media Coordinator will report directly to the Social Media Director.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
  • Attend events and produce live social media content.
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Collaborate with other departments to keep social media calendar updated.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends (including trending audio, hashtags).
  • Interact with social community and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments in a kind and compliant manner.
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
  • Manage member approvals/denials in private Facebook groups
  • Support other departments to facilitate Facebook and IG Lives
  • Coordinate with global social teams and internal translation to ensure global messaging is communicated efficiently and on-time.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing or similar field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent digital media editing tools is a plus
  • Ability to speak and write in French is a plus
  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Meta Business Suite, Linktree)
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools like InShot and Canva
  • Excellent social listening skills and societal cultural awareness
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
  • Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
